Beautiful Song In My Head: "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang"

I'll bet you're asking, "Say what?" It's not like a song I would normally favor. More likely, I'd be trying to get that little ditty out of my head. So, what makes it beautiful all of a sudden? Well, my toddler was singing it and it's his voice that I am remembering.

Last night was magical. My toddler sang "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" together with his mommy and was dancing. At the end of his song, he went on his knees. I thought, no way, was that a dance move. Or did he stumble? They sang the song together again and he did that exact same move at the end!

It's amazing when people can capture such moments on video. The only way to catch something like that with video would have to be with a hidden camera, since he behaves differently when he sees a camera.

I love reading the posts you make about your son!

You can tell how proud of him you are and the love you have for him spills out from the words you type.

I'm almost certain I can see a huge smile on your face when I read them too!

All kids should be so lucky!

I never even heard of it until your message here, but found it on YouTube and played it for my toddler. He requested that I find Shirley Temple instead, lol. Toddlers are odd creatures, I know. He sang along to this and tap-danced on the floor:

And who couldn't adore Shirley Temple?

Sometimes on cold, dreary and blah days, I'll pull out my Shirley Temple DVDs and have a marathon.

        She's a classic!
