World's Fattest Man May Now Be 812-Pound Londoner Keith Martin

Many people believe Martin is currently the world's fattest man even though Guinness World Records currently recognizes Manuel Uribe of Mexico as the record holder.

In 2006, Uribe tipped the scale at 1,235 pounds. However, he's been on a diet, according to Guinness officials, and was last weighed at 917 pounds in 2009.

See? - this guy is a mere *svelte 812 pounds...423 pounds thinner than the previous "fattest man in the world" - how's that for proof?

*BMI Scale

(*bmi = big mac index)

His needs are putting an extra drain on NHS resources and costing the taxpayer thousands of pounds as he requires an army of 18 medical professionals to look after him, including ambulance staff, caretakers and nurses.
