Looks perfect just like it is, Terra. I'm going to have to flatten my driveway though. That's so low to the ground I couldn't even get up the drive without scraping the bottom.

Excellent point! Maybe this car is a show piece or an object of bragging rights?

On second thought, I'll pass. I'd be too paranoid to drive it anywhere and get a tiny ding, dent or scrape and that kind of takes the fun out of having it.

Can't do hydraulics on it (look at how the body wraps around the wheels).

Could be next-generation space shuttle! Might even have enough power for its own escape velocity. Just need a long, up-sloping ramp. Just needs retractable glide wings for maneuvering and re-entry.

Thom, since you didn't mention it, I'm guessing you watched this video with closed captioning turned off. Turn it on and read the messages with the video. It has nothing to do with what you're seeing.

But there was a new show on AMC last night about a comic book store Kevin Smith owns in Jersey...and this guy drove up in an old Adam West Batmobile - that ought to turn a few heads!

I bought a new Camaro back in '82. Thoroughly enjoyed it, it was a fine car. The new Camaros are pretty nice looking too, IMO. You might have to settle for one that doesn't transform though . . . for now.

Lori, I don't think my wife would approve of that. And besides, doesn't that usually involve the necessity of being young and good looking? I don't exactly qualify very well, although I do have cute puppy.

      Aston Martin One-77, 750 horsepower

British sports-car manufacturer Aston Martin is famous for creating svelte and sexy grand touring cars, and its crowning achievement, the One-77, is no exception. Although unmistakably an Aston Martin in design, this halo car puts a greater emphasis on outrageous performance and sports wilder, jaw-dropping style elements than its lesser brethren. Limited to just 77 and already sold out, the One-77 boasts the most powerful naturally aspirated production-car engine ever made —
      A 7-liter V12 good for a roaring 750 horsepower.

Take a good look at this athletic beauty, as it's unlikely you'll ever encounter one on the road.

        What a bloody heap...

I can't stand it. It's absolutely revolting. I mean just look at it Dennis, what a pile of crap. Looks like some some drunken granny (bless her cotton socks) has just thrown up over it.

Mark looks incredulous. Blimey there's no accounting for taste in these parts.

That's exactly the sort of car I'd like to get a huge steel ball on top of a demolition crane and just whallop the bugger out of the thing. Yrrr'ack!

Give me an Aston Martin any day of the week over that piece of (add expletive here).

Mark J. Tillman, Aston Martin manager at Aston Martin Tampa Bay, has announced that the last One-77 unit has been put on sale. This car is a pre-built model that is part of the five to eight cars slotted for the United States. It’s priced at $1,850,000 and will more than likely go quick considering it’s the very last model available.

As a reminder, the One-77 is powered by a naturally aspirated 7.3-liter V12 engine that develops a total of 750 horsepower with a 0-60 mph time of just 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 220 mph.

Ha ha, I'd have to be careful driving it around here, Sal. Not many dirt roads, but plenty of places to scrape the bottom of a car that close to the ground.

Dennis shakes his head in disbelief.

Not even close, my good man. That AM looks like too many other sports cars. If you want to go the Aston Martin route, let's talk about this one...

There's a reason why the design of the Aston Martin is best left to the in-house design team Dennis.

This 'thing' looks just as awful as the picture in your OP. It's not an Aston Martin, it's just some upstart trying to make a good impression (and failing big time) with Aston Martin.

He's got it all wrong. Some things my friend are just best left to the British.
