People Posting In The Wrong Forum

Is it just me or are there loads of threads in the Main Forum that don't belong there?

I know the Mods are super busy, i have seen Ken
trying his best to close and move threads quite often, but New and Old members
IMO, keep starting threads that belong in other Forums if i apply
my understanding of what belongs in the main forum.

When you try and suggest that their Thread may be in the wrong forum
the response varies from, "Yea sorry will do next time" to "I decide where my thread goes, mind your own business".

Is it because people know that the Main Forum gets the most viewers after the WSO Forum so they will get more attention by posting there?

    Always.

    Many of them should be in the SEO Forum. Some elsewhere.

    Clearly the only threads really allowed there are the ones asking "What do you really earn?" (there are plenty of those, too, though) ... :p

    I feel that people posting threads in the wrong section are pretty rare here on WF -- or maybe the mods move it to the correct area before I see it. In any case, it's a bit of an annoyance but not something to get overly bothered about. When you compare the situation to other marketing forums, WF is infinitely better. I constantly see people posting threads that promote their website/product/services in sections that are designed specifically for discussion (and in most cases aren't even remotely relevant to what they're selling) :rolleyes:
