I have an odd question.

My local Wal-Mart is looking pretty bare. Like it does right before a hurricane.

Other stores are fine - it's just Wal-Mart.

Is WM having delivery issues?

    Shay,

It's not a hurricane, but you do have some strong thunderstorms with damaging winds headed toward Charleston. Its the same system that caused the tornadoes in OK yesterday. Maybe everyone is freaking out over this.

      Thanks!

I agree. The reason being is that they take business away from so many locally owned stores. As the President says... "Buy American," which I will do my best to stick to in an effort to help regain our economy.

In addition to bullying small business owners out of work, WalMart degrades female employees and continues to break the labor codes. And that's just the beginning.

So, sorry dear. If they don't have enough products to stock their shelves, that just means more business for local mom and pop shops to continue to feed their families.

Walmart has over 1/3 more of their employees receiving healthcare through government run, taxpayer funded programs, than any other retailer.

That means your taxes are subsidizing their ablility to sell at lower prices.

I don't know how the Wal-Mart down the road from where I lived in Idaho even stayed open. They were always in some sort of legal battle over employee abuse. They would even hire the handicapped, then turn around and abuse them as if they weren't smart enough to realize that when they hired out people on programs for the disabled someone would be watching out for them, eh?

It's unfortunate that their lower prices are all some people can afford to pay. If it's Wal-Mart or starve, or Wal-Mart or barefoot what would YOUR choice be?
