A reasonable alternative to a tablet?

I've been toying with the thought of buying a tablet and even considered the new Note from Samsung. I'm not sure I'm ready to pass on upgrading my aging desktop and just go for a tablet just yet. So, the other day I started searching for a bluetooth travel KB which would work with my Galaxy SII smartphone. I found several and decided on the Logitech tablet/phone KB.

With Quick Office on the phone, this might be a viable alternative for simple tasks such as word processing and of course, connectivity. I can create word docs and even do basic powerpoint and Excel.

One tip...the easiest KB to find is the iPad/iPhone version and Logitech also makes an Android version. However, the iPad version seems to work fine with Androids too. The setup was simple, run the pairing scan on the phone, you'll see a prompt asking you to input a key, type that in on the KB and bob's your uncle.

The price is reasonable (I guess) at $65.00. I believe Best Buy sells the Logitech KB.

jim
