      I was once probaby no more than a dozen feet away from one as it started down the runway. I think EVERYONE in the airport, at least 1/4 of the airport, knew what was up. It was not long after 9/11, and people were VERY vigilent. They were actually searching CARS.

      That reminds me of when I was in the Navy. I was stationed on an aircraft carrier. We saw a lot of cool things.

        I was on a DDG. Once in a while out doing exercises in a carrier group we'd get a low and close fly-by from a pilot. VERY cool!
