I'm always scouring the Internet for relatives.

RE: quote below from article, I find this very cool. That is eerily close to the beginning of recorded history and could conceivably be mentioned in folktales and other forms of oral history.

Some of the newly described fossils are just 11,500 years old, suggesting that unlike Neanderthals they made it through the height of the last ice age.

Ken - it just means that if they were mating, they were both branches of human species. Neanderthals were also human and bred with other forms of humans often enough that we still retain some of their DNA.

We were crossbred with aliens. Everyone knows that.

  • Many different species that are compatible have been bred together, for instance, the lion, and the tiger, making a liger...

Or the horse, and the ass - making a horse's ass...

I guess it means whatever the hell they say it means now.

You should have been taught that if their OFFSPRING could reproduce, they were of the same species. Mules are a good example of this...With donkeys and horses being cross-bred, the resulting mules being sterile.

However, even this is wrong in some instances...Bob cats and lynx can mate and their offspring can reproduce. Same thing for grizzly and polar bears, which create "pizzly" bears which can reproduce.

In other words, the lines that seperate species are often blurred.

For example, Rush Limbaugh never had any children.
