    Looks like Portreath or maybe up the coast a little further towards Chapel Porth on the north Cornish coast.

    Both only about 10 miles away from here.

    Been several of these lately, there was another good one last summer at Gunwalloe on the south coast down near Mullion on The Lizard.

    Hardly surprising with waves like this coming in regularly...



    This wave was well over 100' high when it slammed into the cliff, I should know, I was down there at Sennen Cove on the very same day this photograph was taken doing some storm photography of my own.

    See that long building on the right hand side? That's the local RNLI lifeboat station. The apex (the highest point of that building... on the roadside to the tip of the roof it's about 32' high) this gives you some indication of the height of the wave coming in behind it!

    Sennen Cove (above) is located between Land's End and Cape Cornwall, the most westerly point on mainland Britain.
