Just interested to know how many hours do IMers sleep per day.

Obviously we spend a lot of time looking at computer screens and I feel that we need a bit more sleep to rest our eyes. Isn't it?

    Not nearly enough.

On a good night I'll get 6 maybe 7 hours (assuming my son doesn't wake up in the middle of the night) but sometimes it's as little as 5.

I now have to wear glasses because of all the time I spend in front of the computer.

I should probably take better care of myself and learn how to work more efficiently. Thanks for bringing this up.

6-8, usually. But I'm up multiple times throughout the night as well.

LOL, took the words right out of my mouth (or off of my typing fingers, as the case may be.)

I do take the occasional daytime nap, but I try not to do it too often.

8-10 hours. There's no use on working 24 hours a day when you can outsource the technical stuff. Use your day to drive traffic and get leads, of course, when your starting, you really need to take your time to learn basics stuff.

Hm... well when I have a project going on I would often spend around 12-14 hours per day. But I guess it really depends on the project.

Sleep hours isnt my issue, consistency of "time" is... I can work 2-3 days and sleep one day for ten hours or so, and then get up and do it again with only a few hours of sleep in between... Cant seem to do routine anymore. Im used to just sleeping whenever I run out of energy. No drugs involved, its all natural.

When marketing is your passion, sleep can be almost like an inconvenience you have to tolerate here and there.

i try to follow the 8 hour work, 8 hours sleep, 8 hours play creed, but i seldom work 8 hours anyway, but usually sleep at least 8 hours

    life is about balance

new zealand and australia are considered the first to gain an 8 hour day

    how times have changed

"There are twenty-four hours per day given us; eight of these should be for work, eight for sleep, and the remaining eight for recreation and in which for men to do what little things they want for themselves."

Ideally I'd sleep for 8 hours a night but at the moment it's 6 hours on a good night and anything from 0-6 on a bad night.

6 to 8 hours is usually what I shoot for. Obviously it wont always (rarely) work out that way but that's what I have found works best for me.
