What About the Warrior Forum's History?

Who started this forum? How many members were there in the very early days? What has been its biggest challenges? And so on.

Anyone know where I can read about this? I did not find any information here or on Google (maybe I am just horrible at using Google). I suppose that I am just curious to know.

As I've heard, this forum had a lot of spammers on it. But that's ok, because the can spam act wasn't here yet. In the old days I guess you just scraped email addresses off websites and emailed them, and it was all A OK... Kind of like physical junk mail.

It was private and then paid...and then you could access only through buying certain products...there were various special sections through the years and in the past half dozens years or so it became what it is.

Unless something has changed, Allen Says is the owner...and this particular version has only been online since 2008....previous version can be found at
      The Warrior Forum .

I first visited the forum in 2002 - but didn't get involved in it until 2004.
In my experience, scammers and spammers have always been persona non grata here - but you gotta catch 'em before you can roast 'em.

Both catching and roasting continue to occur on a daily basis here.:p

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.

I think Paul Myer can give the best recap. Kay is right, but Paul can flesh it out a bit more.

I think I came first in 97 or 98. It was recommended to me by Teresa King, and as kay said, it was a private site you paid to get admittance to. It also had/(has) a load of ebooks and programs you could download.I know Allen still has the page up,probably for nostalgia.

I also think this is the 4th or 5th version of the forum, and imo the best version, but then I am a long time VBulletin fan.

In the past couple of years the forum has experienced explosive growth.
