I doubt it but I have gobblers on the brain so I had to start a thread about it. This season hasn't been kind to me as of yet but I have high hopes for this weekend.

I'd love to give it a try. We have several large gangs of Turkeys that roam around my area. I'm sure though that I'd hate the cleaning process.

Don't think I'd go messin' with those... I've heard they shoot back!

It's not too bad. Just pluck and cut. Then spray and freeze (or stuff).

A rabbit is the worst. They smell absolutely terrible.

It's been a few years since I've had time, but I DO know one thing. Until you've had wild turkey you really don't know how good turkey meat can taste...

My wife used to hunt turkeys, but once she caught me she gave it up.

Just when you think you've got it all figured out, someone changes the rules.

That's usually the opposite. The husband used to hunt but the wife caused him to stop lol.

I'm not positive, but I think you took me too literally. I was actually making a joke, or trying to, by calling myself the turkey she was hunting.

He DID say he had "gobblers on the brain" although I didn't take it literally...

Spring season is still a month away here.
I stopped all hunting years ago, more because of laziness then anything else. What's funny is in back of my house there is a bit of woods. Depending on the time of day I can either watch the deer bedding down or rising and Turkeys either roosting or feeding. I do kinda miss Turkey hunting, but I have plenty of friends that hunt so I get some wild Turkey now and then.

Absolutely, I also love to hunting turkey but long time I didn’t do this activity for several reasons, but in the future I’d definitely do this.
