Technology is makes to us lazy, is it right or wrong?

According to me, Life is going very easy with the help's of technology.

What's your view?

    Technology was supposed to simplify our lives and allow us a better, more enjoyable lifestyle.

    Instead, all it has done is accelerated the speed of life and the demand on each of us to try to keep up. People with jobs have to work harder and longer than ever before to keep up and make ends meet.

    And yes, in my opinion, technology is making our brains lazy. Information is at our fingertips and instead of exercising our brain and working through a problem, we simply "Google" it and let someone else do our thinking for us.

    School children are not encouraged to think - more and more teachers today seem to simply send the kids to the Internet for info and answers. I am hearing stories in schools where teachers are EXPECTING every child to have a smart phone or electronic device of some kind so the teacher can communicate the lessons and resources.

    I must be doing it wrong. Personally, I find having a library of information to rival that of Alexandria at my fingertips an incredible gift - true, if not inclined to learn, it's a lot of funny cats...but the internet can and does contain more wealth of easily accessible knowledge than many people old enough to have used a 'dewey decimal card catalog' could have wished for - once you separate the wheat, from the chaff.

    Does technology make us lazy? I've never seen anyone with TECHNOLOGY standing over them ordering them to be lazy. Being lazy is a choice. Technology only makes it easier to choose to be lazy, but being lazy or not is up to each individual.

    As with anything, it's how you use it that matters.
