I think beer makes you fat, liquor kills all your brain cells, but wine...wine is classy anyone of you consume a nice glass every once in awhile, or daily? I read it can even be healthy. I know back in the day they use to drink it because it was much cleaner/safer than water.

I enjoy a good glass of red wine. I was a beer drinker but started getting the beer gut. Never really been into liquor - except in the early 20s where the liquor of choice was tequila.

    Mostly, I'm a beer drinker.
However, a good steak isn't the same without a glass of good red wine.

Make sure to smell your wine first, for those of you who do drink it I think with a nice steak or some form of beef it works.

Usually only in moderation at weddings or formal events when served. Wine in any volume gives me a headache, even half a glass of the stuff.

When I do drink it, my preference is for a dry red. Don't really care for white.

I drink wine... Beer, Liquor, Cocktails, mixed concoctions, or anything that contains even a slight amount of alcohol in it!

But seriously I prefer red wine, mostly merlot

But I am a beer drinker for the most part and I know what your thinking... this guy is an alcoholic, I can neither confirm or deny these allegations...

I only drink on 2 occasions...

    I recently learned that's a myth.
"Even in alcoholics, alcohol use doesn't actually result in the death of brain cells. It can, however, damage the ends of neurons, which are called dendrites. This results in problems conveying messages between the neurons. The cell itself isn't damaged, but the way that it communicates with others is altered."

Wine is not good for health but than I also I prefer to have it. Whenever I am in depression or having any problem I drink wine. Wine make me forget all the problem.

Wine is good for health in small quantities for its antioxidant properties.

It isn't however good for depression (in the long term) in larger quantities.

I drink red and I had a bottle on Friday night. White is a bit too light.

Love wine, just even made a nice chicken dish marinating with Red Cab/Garlic/Brown Sugar/and some other seasonings then simmered.... mmm.

But I'm more of a beer guy, for those disliking beer put down the nasty piss water Buds/Millers/Coors and other nasty cheap mass beers. You need to try some quality microbrews, Stone, Rogue, Dogfish Head, Great Divide, Old Rasputin, Victory, Southern Tier, Clownshoes etc

I normally do and post up online, but forgot that time lol. Came out so good, put on top of garlic/olive oil shells and italian bread topped with hunks of spinach/minced garlic/oregano/tomatoe sauce/ that was simmered in butter. My new fave thing is the Smart Balance butter sticks, much healthier then other butter sticks and they even have an olive oil one that's so good.

And of course it all tasted good with the rest of that Red Cab

Can't beat nice glass of Merlot or Sicilian red at the end of a long day. Actually, I've always wanted to develop a site about wine but I think it would be too much temptation

I go through phases, with beer being my standard. I'll drink wine when I feel like being more elegant about my drinking "problem." Typically, I drink Merlot, Shiraz, Pinot, and, occassionally, Moscato, but only when I'm trying to get in touch with my feminine side, i.e. my wife opened the bottle.
