What hardware make my computer faster?

I have a pretty fast processor etc, but my programs seem to take a little too long to load. I want them to be almost instant. Also when browsing webpages, sometimes they load slowly.

So...if I were to upgrade, where should I focus my upgrade money if I only care about the 2 things above? The fastest cpu? Ram? Is it hard drive speed? Hard drive type? Hard drive cache amount? Motherboard bus speed? Does it matter intel or amd?

What are your thoughts?

Windows makes sure the CPU and RAM are never fast enough!
Hard Drive type, today, if internal, is often faster than any drive spec. A bigger cache, IF properly managed, can definitely help. Hard drive seek speed is often pretty good today, but rotational latency can be bad, so RPMs can help.
Most motherboards go FASTER than anything else!
AMD and INTEL are about on par again.

BTW some websites are INCREDIBLY complex and some browsers may take a long time to process them. ALSO, network speed comes into play.

You should load your system specs first and then we can take it from there. It will make things a lot easier that way.
