Is the government hiding something from you?

I can't prove or disprove whether the government is hiding aliens, but the Navy seals comment is wrong. I have two nephews that were Navy seals.

And as for the government kidnapping people and replacing them with robots . . . I think you're spending too much time reading conspiracy websites. Either that or pass the jug, I'll have some of what you're having. :rolleyes:

Is the "media" you refer to mainstream media? If so, you are very much mistaken (assuming you're not trying to be sarcastic). The media is agenda-driven nowadays, not truth driven as they used to be. They are bought and paid for. They are no longer the watchdog that protects the public, they are the guard dog that keeps the public away from the truth.

There are secrets, enough to fill a library. As someone who used to have a gov't security clearance I know some of the secrets they keep, but I was very, very low in the security chain -- there are many levels of secrets, and "need to know" is always a requirement.

We have an understanding of how our tax money is spent when it comes to the things they want us to know, or don't care if we know, but you do understand there is a black budget that we know nothing about, don't you?

It's a necessity to have a black budget for national security reasons.

I agree, and I forgot that we have a black budget for national security reasons and no one knows how much it is.

But is the black budget folded inside the defense budget, the CIA budget, the homeland security budget or all three have their own black budget??

Sorry TL, I don't know the answer to that. I think you'd have be pretty high up in one of the organizations with a black budget to be able to answer that with any authority - if you'd even know then. At those levels "need to know" is the first layer of secrecy. There are things even the president won't be told unless he has a need to know.

Well can you estimate how much these black budgets cost us??

another 10 bill/ 25 bill? 50bill?

Since a lot can be done with 10 bill I can't see it being much more than that.

Now waste is another matter.

What's your estimate of general US gov waste?

Is it about 10% of the US budget IYHO??

Anything more than 5% is just too much and should be hunted down and eliminated.

I'm a big fan of the whole alien theory! - The theories range from "they are coming" to "they are living among us" ... So the question I always seem to ask myself is this... "So?"

If they are living among us, their world must have really sucked, and if the are 'coming', good. We have enough red necks in the u.s. who are armed to the teeth and willing to kill or die to protect their own that it doesn't matter if 'they' come with good intentions or bad.

I love the gov conspiracy theories too... But those aren't fun. They usually end in some sort of slavery.

Why does everyone assume if aliens land they are gonna be someone we will need or want to fight against. What if they have something like some really awesome champagne or bud and just wanna be friendly?

Well, if they come, they better have some really good party materials to share, anyhow. As Brutal pointed out above -- we have hella red necks in this country.

Well, if they were human aliens, and somehow able to hypnotize people, and wanted to entrap all others, I guess the alien theory could MAYBE make sense.

There is ONE conspiracy theory that says that rh-. especially rh- o type people are ruling the world to subjugate others. There are a few problems with that, including the idea that they only found out about such typing like 1950. rh- women, until recently, could only reliably have rh- kids, and a number of royal families have been rh- and they married other royal families, so the idea of so many being rh- is explainable. Besides, I have known poor rh- people, and there are rich rh+. BTW for the record, I am rh+, and apparently my parents are also.

The reason why I speak about women here is because if they have sex with an rh+ man, they could have an rh+ child. If ANYTHING goes wrong, even the slightest damage, the babies rh+ makeup could trigger an abortion. ALSO, if rh+ blood enters the woman's bloodstream, it can hurt the chances of having another rh+ kid, as I recall.. TODAY they have shots that can reduce the chances of such reactions.

BTW making a human like robot is still FAR too complicated.

I think in the US, the real secrecy is in the foreign policy area under all the flowery language of international diplomacy.

On domestic policy, there isn't a lot they can hide since their budgets signal their priorities.

I love in ID how they say "HOW DID YOU PAY FOR ALL THIS". The old man chimes in..."You don't REALLY think they pay $50K for a hammer, or $30K for a toilet seat, DO YOU?".
