What Would Cause This Error?

Huh? http://mtgdeckbuilder.%C2%ADnet doesn't look like a site on the interwho.
That's the message I get when I got to isitdown.

I know the site exists. It's not saying the site is down. It's saying the site doesn't exist and it doesn't appear to be resolving right either because of those weird characters after the dot.

What the hell would cause this?

spammers used to cloak URLs like that. So IE, FF opera and a few others
changed the browsers to NOT accept/resolve that type of encoding any more.

    edit---
I think i am wrong... its supposed to be %2C not %C2 .... that's whats wrong...
and that type of url encoding IS accepted.

%2C is encoded comma .... trying to figure out what the other one is.

%2D is a "-" .... and that;s my best guess as to what its supposed to be

According to GoDaddy the domain name has expired.

That's assuming you're trying to go to the .com domain. The url you posted doesn't actually have a domain extension like .com or .org. I added the .com myself to find the domain was expired as of March 15.

Maybe you're not as simple-minded as I am.

Dennis, the extension is .net and was working about 30 minutes ago.

Yep, according to Down For Everyone Or Just Me -> Check if your website is down or up? the site is down. It happens. My site went down for about 4 hours last month. It was the first time in 5 years it had been down.

Well, whatever happens, we need to keep Steve busy till this site comes back up. It's been my experience that Magic the Gathering withdrawals are not a pretty sight...

Not only that...all my decklists are on that site and I didn't put my deck
together yet for tomorrow's Friday Night Magic. I can't go there without a
      deck.

This is the part of the movie where the protagonist comes up with a clever way to beat the odds and come out on top. You can do it!

Right? I have no idea how MTG decks are built. Last trading card game I played was Yu-Gi-Oh back in '04. It was amazingly simple to build a strategically sound deck.

Well I guess I'm just a whole lot older than I thought.

Friday night magic never had anything to do with cards where I came from.

Lol Sal, there's another income stream I never even thought of!

@Sumit - You stay outta this, or I'll have to have a serious talk with your Mom. :p

I'll write a script that would periodically check if a website is online and e-mail you when it goes offline and comes back online.

That's right Jody! You mess with me, you lose income streams. Stalin I said.
