Rubick's Cube. That's a good one. I peeled all the stickers off and replaced them and got in trouble by my Dad. (Well I was only a kid.) Personally I thought it was quite creative.

New Romantic Music. One of my favourite songs was Dire Straight's "Money For Nothing."

Me and my Brother used to put it on full volume when our parents were out and jump up and down on the sofa playing air guitar. Was fun growing up in the 80's. Good times. That has to be one of the best guitar riffs and intro's in music history.

And that reminds me of another one: MTV.

    Cartoons:

    He-Man
    She-Ra
    Transformers
    Voltron
    Thundercats

    All those kick ass...period...

Valerie, just put the 5 cartoons above in your blog. You'll have, like, 1,000,000,000,000 subscribers in a day...

Then you can write an ebook about getting 1,000,000,000,000 subscribers in a day, sell it for $197 a pop, and be filthy rich and retire on your yacht and beachfront mansion in Aruba.

80's crazy dance moves, new wave, and of course, the first annual MTV awards where Madonna sang Like a Virgin on stage, doing the unthinkable and left the audiences' jaws on the floor. Television has never been the same way again.

I used to love the Thundercats and He-Man.

At least back then, those cartoons had a moral at the end of the story which taught you something. Today's cartoons' morals are to go out and buy our trading cards/video games/comic books. *sigh*
