A least not one I could find. So, I'll try to kick one off ...

Bubba Dog - the result of the forbidden ranch love between a Great Pyrenees & Border Collie - non AKC workingline on both parents - and in the unfortunate state of RIP for about a year and sorely missed:

Josie - 12 month old bat crap crazy non AKC workingline on both parents Red Heeler:

She couldn't find any cow legs to nip at, so a grungy 'ol deer leg left over from a mountain lion kill had to suffice.

I know you got 'em and I know you love 'em, so show off yer doggies!

You couldn't find any of the dog threads? Holy cow - people love their dogs in here - there's always a thread about some animals or other, but have been several specifically about dogs............and

Now we have another one. My little guy is in my Avatar. I guess it was time to make it clear that is him and I didn't just get a hair cut.

Looks like yours have some beautiful territory to tromp around in.

Nah, Kelpies are herding dogs, he's moving the sheep from pen to pen. They're also used to gather sheep in paddocks for example to move them into the shearing pen. He loves sheep!

It took us a while to train our dog to do our yard work, but he's finally starting to get the hang of it. Now every time our former lawn care guy drives by, he gives the dog dirty looks!

HeySal: I searched for a specific thread, but didn't find one. Don't be shy, show us a bigger pick.

Audrey: Nice to see another Heeler. And nice to see you working your Kelpie. It is pure joy watching herding dogs do their thing. I was actually considering throwing mine around some cows this summer - need to ramp up the training first though. She certainly has the working heeler grit and drive and both of her parents work cows.

Joe: Golden Retrievers are one of my favorites. They are great dogs in so many ways. Awesome companions.

infomaniacs: That's a good looking pup. Kelpie/Lab - that should keep you busy. You could buy one of those tennis ball serving machines to keep him satisfied and your sanity intact.

Christopher - not chewing on you at all. Wasn't telling you to search instead of starting a thread - just thought you might have fun looking over a few of the old ones. We have pet threads now and again and I don't think pet owners ever get tired of them - or of posting pics of their little fuzzies.

Mine has a story behind him. My sister found him stray about 6 years ago. The vet guessed 4 to 5 years old. I went down to my sister's for awhile about 2 years back. Ricky was dying of cancer and had a lump on his shoulder the size of my fist. He could not stand square on all fours - he limped on the leg with the shoulder tumor. I told her I could cure him but it would tear us both to ribbons when I left because of the bond we'd build if I spent that much time and effort on him. So she said that if he lived, he was mine. She never had that much of a bond with him anyway. Kept him fed and safe, but never really, really loved or understood him. 8 months after that, Ricky stood square on all four legs the week of my birthday and has never limped again. He was about 1/3 of the way to well in this one - still limping but glad as hell to go....anywhere.

Frankly, I don't have a LOT of pictures right now but here is the same grin he's been wearing since we took our first trip - a lake and woods.

I'll be taking more pics of him soon - need a cover and some pics for the ebook I am writing: Saving Ricky - The Second Rescue.

My favorite dog race is scuba dogs. They love to be in water and they never complain if they get wet. They can also survive very long on shellfish and fish as they find by themselves.

If you don't know how they look like, they look like this:

This one is my favorite. His name is Sir Swimalot and he is currently scubing outside of the Norwegian coast to find old shipwrecks!

              Exactly Chris,

She spent last Saturday afternoon running around the yard, doing barrel rolls about every 10 steps and then settled down by digging holes all over, lol!

She's adorable, but just like with my grandkids, it's great to see her come and go, haha!
