The weekend paper are loaded with images of the guy who ALLEGEDLY (my lawyers advised this) is responsible to multi billions fraud in the Carribean. The thing is this - the guy looks like a crook. He looks untrustworthy. That smile. That grin. How would anyone invest? But - would I look like that? Or should we keep a couple of relevant images handy for when the feds serve the papers so that the guys in the satellite vans get a head start?

I have an older brother (somewhere) who spent his life as a con man.

He looks like just what he is, sleeze. Yet, he always manages to find

new people to run a game on. His winning formula? Pick on the greedy

ones. They're sooo much easier to con. Anytime you hear "insider

information", "guaranteed returns" or other such nonsense.....RUN!

When I first started out in my niche, I felt like a crook even though I knew I wasn't. The fact was that my market could, with a little research on their own, get the information that I had...

It wasn't until I started teaching classes through community education centers that I started realizing that my 10 years in the business is what helped them cut down on their learning curve.

Yeah, a lot of people look like crooks, scammers, con-men, whatever...especially when you're marketing informational products that seem "too good to be true." but when you're providing good, relevant information to help people navigate the real crap that's out there, then that's valuable.

Even if people choose not to get started in my niche, they thank me for the honest evaluation of the business and the clear ways to get started. Plus, I hear from the hundreds of folks I've helped, so that always makes me feel warm and fuzzy!

I had a big argument with a bus driver the other day. He refused to let me off the buss and started insulting the hell out of me.

So I blew my stack and hollered and swore at the dude. Then I grabbed his lapel to get his name.

It was Mafoa (from Samoa) how much of a more criminal sounding name do you get than Mafoa.

Ah, come on - Not all of us look like crooks. Some of us look like idiots.

I just look like a bi--h. I like that - keeps the people that look like crooks away from me.

Texan billionaire behind £20m cricket match apologises to England players for flirting with their WAGS | Mail Online

What is really horrible is that the WAGS (wives and girlfriends) of English cricketeers behave like sluts when a billionaire is around. Note the girl sitting on his lap is the pregnant wife of an English player who is playing on the field below while they were cavorting in the stands.

    Interesting thread.
Kind of like how racism works in a way.
If you can pick out a "crook" just by looking at them you should hire out to the authorities and make some money with that skill.
Pretty easy to say how they look after they are caught.
Why didn't his appearance tip anyone off ahead of time?

My dad had the same exact name (even middle name) of a local man wanted for murder here about 15 years ago. When he got a call at his work saying there was a warrant out for his arrest, he nearly freaked!

Fortunately he looked nothing like the guy but that would scare the pants off me. I'm glad my name is rather unique

Indeed, but you have to wonder what kind of parents would name their child, "Ecoverartist"!?

We have a "joke" here in Florida about "certain" people the police

seem to target. They can be charged with DWH. (Driving while

Hispanic). Profiling ANYONE, ANY GROUP. ANYTHING is a slippery

slope. I catch myself all the time and have to pull myself up short.

The guy who cuts you off in traffic didn't do that because he's black,

He did it because he's reckless. The women in Wal-Mart isn't stupid

because she's obese. She could be both but one doesn't cause the

other. Follow yourself around for a day and watch how many times

you do that. Fortunately it is possible to retrain yourself. It just takes

    constant vigilence.

I think most online affiliate runners and marketers look like crooks (even though they're not) to the average person who is skeptical and doesn't really understand the theory behind it.

What's the difference between posting an ad in the paper telling someone to come shop at your grocery store... or posting online and telling someone to shop at your website? I don't see the difference.
