So I'm at the pub with a good friend of mine and I'm excited to tell him about my getting into IM.

As with most folks who don't see the potential of it, I assume, IM is just one those scammy topics that is not looked upon in a very good light.

So I'm prepared for him to be apathetic at the worst, encouraging, cuz he's a good friend of mine. If he's not interested, that's cool, let's grab another pint.

But what he says is "well let me know how it turns out I'd like to try it if it works. If it doesn't, we never had this discussion."

Its that last bit that kinda disappointed me. I would be happy to hand over all the IM stuff I have, but that last line almost felt insulting.

Is it just me, or does it seem like he thinks I'm full of **** at the moment.

I could very well be blowing this out of proportion, or misinterpreting what he said, it just didn't sit well with me.

I for one have learned to not really share my plans with friends, many times they have negative reactions. Avoid negativity, even from other people if possible, it can infiltrate your subconscious and be detrimental to your success.
