Help me sell Elvis...

I'm doing a site for a friend that books Elvis impersonators in Las Vegas.

Any suggestions for "sales copy" and reasons to hire an Elvis (or two)?

I've got the obvious stuff like wedding receptions and singing telegrams...But am looking for more reasons people may want to hire an Elvis?

How would you sell Elvis on a website?

Any ideas are really appreciated...

I take it he doesn't book an individual but has a list of clients?
Definitely aim for the baby boomers. It would really depend on the talents of each impersonator I would think.
I honestly think more info would be needed before I could say how to slant this.
Maybe others can be more helpful.

He has a list of "Elvi" that he books...Some are the most talented Elvis impersonators around. Others are "Bad Elvis", "Stripper Elvis", "Midget Elvis", 50s. 60s and 70s Elvis, etc. He has a good selection of "Elvi". LOL

Most of his traffic will come from Adwords...

I really think he has something good going on, but it's not something people search for...I have told him to do press releases and publicity campaigns, but it's hard to get him motivated in that direction.

But no matter where the traffic comes from, it will be pointed at a sales letter I'm doing...My goal is simply to get people interested enough to call him. Once they call, he does a pretty good job closing the deal.

I've got the obvious sales points, just looking for a creative idea or two I've over-looked...

Since there are people who believe Elvis is still alive, how about suggesting that if the real one does show up, there won't be an extra charge? You could even be one of the people who believes that. (in the copy)

      Kurt,

Years ago I went to one of those "wine tasting and live chef cooking" gigs and they had an Elvis impersonator as entertainment.

So basically, the venues are wide open for Elvi...
