It is often said that cats train their owners, well here's some adorable proof!

      He sure is, lol!

Can you imagine waking up to that every morning at 5 am regardless if it's a weekend day or not?

Pretty smart cat for figuring out how to rouse his owner anyway.

Maybe if the guy (assuming a guy did it) had installed that springy thingy on the wall where it's supposed to go, rather than the door, kitty would have to find some other annoying way to start his day. Just sayin'

    That is hilarious, Terra!

... and they call them 'dumb' animals.

(I would definitely remove the springy thingy one way or the other - but then he might claw the door which would mean not only wake up but sand and varnish the door when you get up.)

    Yeah cats are pushy....

LOL is so trite but I did actually laugh out loud.

If I had that, I'd need an angry pitbull to guard my door.

      Oh my, Kurt!

Hopefully on the other side of the closed door than the alarm cat.

The pitbull would be on the cat side. He's angry because the cat keeps waking him up.

Too funny Kurt... you know what they say about dogs resembling their masters... and you had to include the adjective "angry". Spot on, little man. :p
