on how an old newbie can get nearer to his first 30 posts before AD 2012?

I've just tried to purchase a WSO (with real money earned the hard way),
when I discover I have anothr 22 posts before I can reply to the thread that
(very reasonably, I thought) requested that I post my PayPal receipt
as a reply to his offer.

I did eventually invent a workaround, but the (lack of) experience left
me thinking WTF...

For the benefit of you younger newbies, that's short for Where's The Fun

You could try posting more in the other folders like the main one. Post enough and you'll get to 30 fast.

Truth is, the seller can't identify you from the number paypal sends you because he gets a different number from paypal.

That practice of asking for the number is a way to inflate post counts in the WSO to make it appear more popular than it may be - and is frowned on.

However, if you are determined to buy it - post the title and seller of the WSO you bought and I'll notifiy the seller for you in the thread .

      Deal?

    Hmmmm,

I think I must be missing something here.

This forum was recommended to me as a aplace I might enter lively discussions and put myself in danger of learning something - that's why I joined.

My contributions might not be Earth shattering and some of them have been 'pounced on' for their inaccuracy but that's what it is all about. A great sales technique is to guess wrong to get the right answer.

You might not like what I say - but I believe it.
Build it, make money, then build some more
Some old school smarts would help - and here's to Rob Toth for his help. Bloody good stuff, even the freebies!

Art: I can't express how much I agree with your statement, so, therefore, I won't.
