Oh man I forgot what these types of files and folders are called. I have tried to search for it on Google but I can't find anything of relevant information.

example.com/example/

example.com/example.html


It's not sub domains because a sub domain is like this:

sub-domain.example.com

I think you know what I mean. :p

    It's just called a folder. Your choices are sub domains or folders. The example/ is a folder and the example.html is a page, at least the way I talk about them.

    Unfortunately when things are that simple, a search doesn't come up with an answer and it takes a human.
