      Agreed, although the one about the Norse coin in Maine may be true. There is apparently other evidence of Viking visits to North America before Columbus.

        That was one that could have an easy alternative theory - that a trade expedition of the tribe ventured north and met up with Norse explorers and got the coin, or found it. As it was the only connection from the dig, it is just as plausible.

        The nicotine in mummies, and the Japan/Zuni connections are intriguing, to say the least...

    Most history can at least be challenged, even laws of the universe. For example the law of relativity, etc.

    Particles can go faster than the speed of light according to some science. It's the sme with alternate versions of history.
