How do read QR codes without a smartphone?
I have a few items with QR codes on them that I need to find out what is contained within the code. I don't have a smartphone. Neither do I know anyone with a QR app on theirs (most of my friends are Luddites when it comes to technology, and I'm not far behind them 
) I've been googling online/desktop QR code readers, and although they seem to exist I'm completely non-techie and don't know what to do.
Please can someone direct me to exactly what I need to enable me to read these codes?
