How often do you replace your desktops or laptops?

    i dont replace, i just add another, no set schedule, usually depends on nice colours

    i usually buy them in china, well aware of all the prophets of doom

    but i did give two, both red, recently, to the local school, with the express wish they be used by students not administrators

    I always like laptop and now I'm using HP TX2.
    I had changed my laptop for 2 times yet.

    It took me 3 years of using a laptop before i replaced it with my desktop. I custom built it and i can always exchange parts when i feel like i'll need an upgrade. I usually think 3 years is a good amount of time before upgrading.

    Its more than 3 years that i have not changed my PC and laptop . Honestly i am satisfied form them and replacing them is not needed.

    My lappy gets replaced about every 1.5 to 2 years. My wife's gets replaced whenever it dies, usually 4-5 years.
