Winklevoss twins launch new social networking site, where members are shareholders

Remember... The ones that Mark Zuckerberg screwed over. It's actually kind of a weird but familiar concept to our industry.

You get shares to refer people. (Haven't we seen that already ) It's called Zurker (Zucker with an r?). Anyway, I got an invite from someone on FB.. But, I really don't know, what I'm supposed to do or how the profit-sharing (if any) would work. it's also actually a very bland site as of now. Well, I don't see this concept going very far.

Anyways, if someone wants an invite hit me up. Just letting you know that I'm not trying to increase my vShares (or so it is called). And if I haven't seen you around WF, then you might not wanna expect an invite.

    Just wanted to add... This site is advertised as run by Winklevoss twins. But, I don't see anything on the site that links the two.

    I thought it was going to be a site where just twins could join...and ask each other what they are doing at that particular moment...

    Kind of like "Twinter" :rolleyes: (whut RU thnkng? / Rlly? me2)

    Since they seem to do a lot of that anyway...

    Tried to access the site but it's by invite only. If there are no new and exciting features offered that will make people want to sign up then I can see where this new social network is heading.

      I just signed up yesterday. I like seeing new social media sites emerging and am kind of amused with the Winklevoss twins connection. They have an emotional stake in it which suggests they'll make greater efforts to make it work. These guys were competitive rowers. That actually means something to me. A cousin of mine was a competitive rower and the drive in that guy is something else (he single-handedly wrote a Cree/English dictionary). If anyone wants to be invited, PM me.

      There are definitely lots of them out there, for sure, so many that there are software programs to keep track of them, submit to them, etc. This one could turn out to be a dud (as most do, I guess) or it might take off. I kind of like it after taking it for a spin (just joined yesterday).
