Removing facebook timeline

Someone posted recently about a website with info about how to get yourself back to the original facebook design. TimeLineRemove.Com disable the new facebook timeline! ..: Remove facebook timeline was the URL given. I told a few people about this and they are all using Google Chrome and they tried it and it did work. They are more than happy, too!

Facebook will not let you post said URL, they stop you and say it's spam! So if you want to tell people about this, break it up into pieces such as timeline remove dot com and then you can post about it.

Does anyone know a way to remove it for those of us on Macs using Safari?

      A friend of mine posted a link on facebook to a video that wont remove it but it will clean it up a lot. Unfortunately this is my first post and they wont let me post the link here.

      If you dig around Im sure you can find it. Makes it one column instead of 2 and removes the big pic at the top. Cleans it up decent.

    The term/thing "Removing facebook timeline" is the trendy topic, now a days! So, some one has already took an advantage of it to make some cash through blocking the relevant domain names and creating some false statements in it. However, facebook is not given any option to remove the timeline and no other sites can do it because no one will be having such an access to edit the facebook database/scripts. It's just a false thing.

    Hello! I think facebook is still promoting their damn timeline. So, there are different people who did this program to remove the timeline and so facebook tries to prevent the spread of this program as much as possible. It did work for me and my browser is chrome.

    Even i don't like timeline. We ca not remove the timeline. It's Facebook Design. We can't edit other's design right. Then why the hell you trust the fake news.

    Whether or not you like Timeline, you can't go back to the original design.. And even if you could it would only be temporarily, since FB is phasing out the old design. Gotta learn to live with it (although quite frankly, I do like it on my personal profile).

    Luckily I never confirmed the update to timeline so my personal facebook page is still in the old format. XD

    I believe there is a way to remove the timeline but it only removes it from your view, your friends will still see the timeline when they view your FB page. The timeline is here to stay so it's something we just need to accept and get use to it. You do get use to it after a while. I believe that eventually, this script that removes it from your view will only be temporary and at some point you will need to accept the timeline.

    There is a Google Chrome extension that removes facebook timeline. But it only removes it from your view (everyone else will still see your timeline). But it does work great if you are using Chrome. It's called "TimelineRemove" and you can find it at the Google Chrome extension store (it's free) under Extension -> Social & Communication.
