I find that it really hurts me inside when I think of all the innocent little chickens whose motives are questioned, just because they are trying to cross the road.

I mean , do we really have nothing better to do than interrogate the motives of innocent road crossing chickens...?

Thats just ONE thing...

Dont get me started on how I feel about the two older toddlers exploiting Mikey on the life cereal commercial....Maybe you should get him to try a shark bite suit and see if it works too right?

Maybe let him test out that hang glider you just soldered together?

Just noticed your sig Kurt. You and Youtube are a natural business match.

Now back to OP....What REALLY hurts my feelings is when I open up a cracker jack box and its a GIRL toy inside! Just makes me feel a little used... I mean come on... I dont want my money back, I just want you to be more considerate. That kinda hurts. I hate to think of all the others are being emasculated like this.

What hurts me is...I've put on some weight so I started a diet and am working out to lose it, then I see a pizza commercial on TV.

    Oh woe is me!

Ouch , once on the atkins diet it was the moonlight shining in the window on a single flake of crust on the top layer of a biscuit...you know the layered kind... It almost did my diet in...I know your pain.

That makes me sad too. But there is victory and many guiltless pizzas on the other side.

Another thing that hurts my feelings is when I think about the day my 4 year old asked me why it was thundering, and I told her it was because God was mad at her.... Never will forget the look on her face.

I wish I would have just went back the next day and told her the truth, that it was just ME who was mad... but it was so easy to use after that and get what I wanted... I felt compelled if you know what I mean, I couldnt stop... bad behavior? Gods mad (Even bought a thunder effect box to really drive it home. Sometimes that worked without even saying God was MAD). Straightened her right up everytime.

She grew up with a complex, and has a few ticks, and doesnt deal with bad weather very well...but later her and God became good friends.

Now they are just mad at ME.

Gee, I wonder if strawberry ice cream being more or less the color PINK has anything to do with that.

          The nerve. Sheesh.

I dont know when the definition changed but she used to brag to her friends that you were so "laid back"....When did that become "lazy"?

It used to be one of your more cool qualities that she loved most Im told

Ps. Just keep a milk jug by your easy chair and save yourself some walkin Dennis! Its not worth it just for a pee. lol Trust me, my wife did the same, and I tried it. Very overrated.

Well, my doctor is seems to think I should get more exercise, not less, so I don't know if that idea will impress him too much. You should have told me that years ago when I could have taken advantage of the advice!

My dad had a good sense of humor. My parents divorced when I was young and I rarely saw him, so I didn't get to know him until I was an adult. Don't really remember him as "dad" in the traditional sense.

Thats too bad. Sounds like he left his mark on you though. I didnt meet my Dad till I was either 16 or 17... was like we had known each other all of our lives. Never too late to share love, as long as God is willing and the creek dont rise.

You were lucky you hit it off so well. Not sure if you meant that "never too late" part about your relationship or mine, but my dad passed away long ago.

Well in your case it seems God was willing to take him home, and the creek rose. But it sounds like you did have some time to share, so thats nice. I havent seen my Dad in years honestly... We hit it off well but he didnt have the "Dad" instinct ultimately... He had all the fluffy stuff around the edges mind you...but our first major relationship storm he did not weather. I said something crude like ANY 19-20 year old might say...His pride got hurt, he ran off and I havent seen him again in 20 years.

My pride gets hurt personally on a routine basis by the children in my life from one direction or another.... but I dont leave my post. That to me is the "Dad" instinct.

I may not be with their mom, but havent left their life in any aspect and am more protective and attentive if anything.

Would never think of leaving them for 20 years...

Awe crud. Now my feelings are hurt! lol

... Still never too late if he comes back around.

Yeah mans nature doesnt change just because their positions in life do. You know too much, its principle, you gotta be smushed! Better to mind your own bees wax.

PS. I agree, it hurts me that thats the principle. Speaking of flies.... it hurts my feelings when I find a fly in my coffee....not the finding it so much actually... Its that after only narrowly missing the swallowing of the fly...the realization of all the ones that I didnt narrowly miss hits me.

Work out? Where you live? Just climb, guy. Your own pace but go uphill for the day - take snacks and water and look for some rocks or take photos. That's a workout that won't make you pant but it will get you buff like you wouldn't believe (even at YOUR age).

It hurts me to hear of someone living where you do not being on top of a 13er on a nice day.

That may be some of the best workout advice I have ever heard. 60 days of that and you would be perfect from head to toe and bronze like a statue.

It hurts me that we cant all live where Kurt lives and get perfect from head to toe being one with nature....living off berries and locusts and S##*

Naw on second thought the daily walk/climb sounds great though. That would be a perfect habit to have daily.

I've had that habit for around 27 years now. Nothing better for the body, mind, or soul. When I moved to the Colorado Mountains, I lived nestled in between 13,500 foot mountains. Every once in awhile I'd go over to Jefferson area and take on a 14er - some hella gemstones tucked into those mountains. I had a friend who had gotten through college in National Reserve or guard or some such. Anyhow....she came out after her yearly 2 week buff up (boot camp) and I schooled her ass. She said it was a far better workout than she got from the military.

You want to get in shape in all seriousness -- you hire me and come out here for a month -- I'm not certified but it's summer and for the price I'll just take ya along rockhounding -- disclaimer.....I am not a medical doctor nor do I own medical certificates and cannot prescribe treatment -- but I AM a well-known rockhound, and I can act as your guide.

          LMAO. ....

It hurts me that I have to put a disclaimer on a post when we're just flinging **** around. Seriously - ya want to get buff, you go to the mountains.

Sal my friend Anne Marie did exactly what you are describing and now she owns the ashram in calabassas cty - Charges $2500 per week to feed you brussel sprouts and have her guides walk you through the mountains daily for 16 miles...., and has 8 guides on her staff. In the evenings there is usually some sort of spiritual teacher or musical experience. In the mornings there is grape fruit and yoga before the hikes.

The prosperity law of "recognition"- You have to be able to recognize good ideas coming from yourself. This is one. Perfect fit.

I am not in a position to do it atm but would eventually. I am sure there are 100 warriors here who would pay a grand for something like that, but you have to believe in your idea without first seeing it- then you will see it.

It hurts me that I think you are half joking.

You are only a potential few students per month away from 200 grand per year doing what you love.

    All it takes is

A: A decision made in a moments time.

    B: A new sig

Your past work at the WF has already laid the ground work for several potential futures of your choosing. Your sig is a channel. What do you want to flow through it?

    Love ya Sal.

    Ps;

C: It takes enough bravery to put your balls out there and believe in your idea!

Don't be hurt. I'm not kidding.

Listen guy - back in 98 I got stranded in a range of mountains in February. It was 0 degrees at night - I didn't have my gloves with me (which was not a purposeful slip, I accidentally dropped them by the door when I was leaving the house). When I didn't show up by the time I left instructions to call the cops if I hadn't been heard from, I went on the missing person's list. They didn't find my butt. I walked out - I got stranded on Saturday and hit the main highway on Tuesday. People freaked that I was still alive -- how did you survive, yadda yadda. (I got fired for being gone for 3 days without calling in....um....scuse me, had there been payphones I wouldn't been walking for 3 days, HELLO.) Anyhow the point...........

I was pissed off at the inconvenience and knew I would get the axe, but I never once considered myself in danger. To me it is severely frightening that people are SOOOOO damned disoriented when out of social boundaries. That's not natural and it's not a freaking good thing. If someone can't survive a few days in the wilderness, what the **** are we in for if the infrastructure collapses?

Nope - I don't go to a gym for my exercise...........I go where I need to know how nature works and I learn how to work with it. Taking someone on a daily guided life experience is expensive John -- I have to be able to afford to live, too -- and to show someone a daily "experience" - they would have to have support potential to make it even worth it. We're talking higher than $1000. Sorry, but that's life. Ya know?

As far as Warriors? They aren't gonna be buying, John - they are hooked to computers and freak out over a day or two away from them. If you noticed - my main niche requires me to be outside indulged in my favorite hobby as much as possible. Some of my website members and I are having a meet-up the first week in June to hunt some stuff. Someone is bringin' a saw or two so I can get some of my stuff sliced............got real nice stuff for sale soon, LOL. And there's gonna be beer and homemade pie.

Life is good sometimes. I'm getting a hankering to make it just a tad better though. I am, after all, a Warrior.

Sal you are telling me that if you could start booking 1 client a week and work it up to 3 per week within 90 days that you couldnt make it by on 3gs per week?

Okay lets say you charged what Anne Marie does- 2 clients per week is 20k per month. She keeps ten per week booked solid with people waiting in line now that word has got out and people return a few times per year....

Maybe Im naive but if 90 year old JF Straw can sell 250 one thousand dollar packages per year off his crummy little HTML site which we are all so proud of , in exchange for a mere intangible online pdf and email experience... you cant get at least 150 to come spend a week hiking with you over a few months time...and make a quarter mil per year at it?

I think you could. Im arguing out of love Sal.

I think there are not only a half million couch potatoes on the Warrior forum, but a few thousand of them who make six figures and KNOW they are couch potatoes and have dreamed of making online money JUST so they could afford the time and money do stuff like book a week of hiking like we are talking about, with a guide.

Thats just me. Okay. Seed planted. "Grow seed".

Ps. Another reason Im doing this is because I have another friend with the same dream and he hasnt moved on it in 20 years...."Hurts my feelings" - I dont see why not.

Talking group rates? Um...........groups would completely defeat the purpose. Anything over 3 would be a crowd and a no-go. The point is to get AWAY from society a little bit ...not to take it with you.

I'm not running a camp.....it's seasonal. The liability is sky high ....I used to tour people up one of the mountains in CO...and tourists are dangerous and stupid. The liability insurance is high. As a guide - you are subject to the idiot that got themselve's hurt suing the crap out of YOU for it. Oh yeah -- Like it's MY fault YOU stepped in front of a 6 foot freaking rattlesnake then thought it was a good idea to start screaming and dancing around like an idiot. Takes some awesomely well written waivers to get around that one, LMAO.

Nope - no crowds. No assembly lines. 4 week minimum $2500 per week. Party of three max.

I'm sure something like this could be turned into a real circus sideshow for the masses - but I wouldn't like it at that point. A person needs to work out more than their muscles ...they need nature immersion and to be unhooked for awhile. You have to reach that place in your mind that allows you to connect to a different, a natural, energy. Mental and physical energy are very closely webbed. People can't even start to get the drift of the effects until they are actually out there and unplugged, and immersed.

This is the thing I have always HATED about marketing -- everything has to draw an ever larger crowd. Some things can't exist as they should in an ever flowing crowd. Sometimes you have to unplug..........and what I do requires, and should require, unplugging.

BTW - a 16 mile a day hike is military. You don't need 16 miles a day to recover or to keep yourself fit, mentally or physically. Nature doesn't make you march to dance to her drum.

Ps. Have tried some exotic wood pics lately of lignum vitae and african ebony.... they suck. Rocks man, thats what you need. Gemstones. Amber baby!

It hurts my feelings that we cant make hawks bill sea turtles into the picks they were meant to be - they are really the best- unless a good friend happens to see a bunch of amber stones fall off a truck that is. They are just as good if not better, but just as hard to come by....and then you have to have them done by a pick maker who knows how to bevel and shape...
