The jester on most occasions was the only one that could speak the truth to the king without fear,albeit wrapped in riddles or humour.

Or to his guests, which is said to have often involved misdirection and false information. I don't know how true that is, or if there are any specific stories backing it up, but it makes for a Macchiavellian approach to diplomacy.

Oh. Well why didn't you just say that?

It's a way of saying "substitute a 't' for instances of 'sc.'" In short, scrolled becomes trolled. But then, a joke is never funny if you have to explain it.

That stuff is tricky enough in a clear-headed state. Messing with regex's after imbibing citrus-enhanced intoxicants is an excellent way to bork it up badly.
