    You can take a shock of perhaps trillions of watts and SURVIVE! It depends on how it is distributed and applied. BTW I knew a kid that had probably a few 1000 watts go through him. He survived! He lost both of his legs, but last I heard he was still alive.

    I believe it is the amperage not the wattage that makes the difference in how it affects you.

        i heard of an electrician who was electrocuted in my town, he apparently was fixing some fault in the loft, he unfortunately got shocked via a foil backed plaster board ( new boards fixed to underside of the ceiling joists. a loose wire must have touched the metallic foil back and got him.
