The skies have always been a constant source of fascination for humans. One common mass that everyone on the planet has seen in one form or another are clouds. They can come in all sizes, shapes, and colours; and their distinct formations have been studied by meteorologists for centuries.     I love nature. I've seen a few pretty bizarre cloud formations over mountains - but I've NEVER seen roll clouds before. Those would definitely freak me out.

    This is funny that you posted this today. I was looking at the sky when I got home and there was a cloud that looked like a big batter fried shrimp. It made me hungry and I had to eat dinner after seeing it.

      The ones I found most fascinating is the Undulatus asperatus clouds - if that didn't make early man think somebody up there is mad! :rolleyes: (it reminds me of the sequence from Fantasia - Night on Bald Mountain)

      The series of roll clouds 'Morning Glory Clouds' is pretty freaky too.
