What next for Facebook?

People are frustrated with their profiles changing to the new Timeline on Facebook, thinking about change is not easy. But Facebook has been through many phases in the past. Numerous changes have occurred previously. So my question really is where do you see Facebook and its design going in the future?

    I have the feeling that Facebook is going to try to act as more of a gateway/search engine to the internet in the future and the actual website will become less relevant to their business model. But the internet is changing fast and Facebook is most likely to lumbering to be able to adapt to new innovations so I think they'll fail terribly and go the direction of Myspace, although it will take longer as it has a lot of appeal to people over 35 who are less inclined to move on. Facebook really hasn't been through many changes at all since its creation, it is a one trick pony at this stage and any attempt to change significantly would be a huge risk.

    i think we witnessed the "climax" to the FB story when they lsited (even that is down about 30% so far) Still, he won;t have to think about monery again will he?

    I love Facebook! I watch all my daughters friends and all their activities. (That's OK with her!) I learn about what my friends like! I think it's great! I've been on Facebook for a long time. I hope it stays here for a long time! They are doing something right because everyone I know is on Facebook! I don't really think they're going to change and if they do it'll be a good change!

    As per latest news, facebook's owner Mark Zuckerberg is having so many layout (perhaps its more then 12). So whenever new and his other competitor social networking sites are launched its new layouts and looks, he is ready to make his site more advanced for staying it in this type of race.
