    Oh. My. Gosh!

Journalists actually get paid for that crap??

I laughed so hard, my belly hurts and tears are rolling down my face.

    Thanks TL.

Raising a child is akin to knowing you're getting fired in 18 years and having to train your replacement without actively sabotaging them.

What puzzles me is who's paying to have these studies done?
And how do I get a job as one of the researchers ?

      • I wish I had the VCR set the night CBS had a news break, reporting,

"A study by a leading University released today, cited the main reason for starvation in 3rd world countries, was due to lack of food..."

    LOL, funny headlines, indeed!

I've seen some funny headlines that were written that way intentionally, but the examples given in that slide show looked like they were all innocently humorous.

You know what they say(ahem... SAID), dog bites man is not a story. Man bites DOG ***IS***.

DISCLAIMER!!!!!!!!! That saying was from when I was a kid. Maybe EARLIER! So it includes some common sense, and WAS true! As we NOW know, dog bites man is now often news!

OK, SORRY GUYS! I wish I had more thanks to hand out. 8-( But one DID surprise me!

#19 "teen pregnancy drops after the age of 25"

WOW, I must be TOTALLY wrong about this. I thought that the gestation of an elephant was only 22 months! I always thought that was the longest I had heard of and that humans were only 9 months. But that CAN'T be because THEN teen pregnancies would drop after the age of 19!

Yeah, when I saw that headline I was wondering what kind of drugs the writer was on.
