Website traffic boo boo

Hi; I am new here as well as a relatively newbie in IM. I could not see a relevant forum for this query, therefore posting here.

I need help with this:
According to Alexa I have had more than 82,000 visitors to my site in the past few months. Alexa also shows that 96% of the traffic is coming from my country - South Africa. This is absolutely useless to me as the products price once converted to SA Rands makes them too expensive.

Also, my marketing is to USA, not SA.

I have not had a single sale yet, even though 2 sites were ranking on page 1 of google - different niches. The ranking for one of them was at no.3 until penguin nailed me - cannot understand that, all original content, proper SEO etc.
The other one is still wavering between no.1 and no.2, but NO sales!

My newest site, 6 weeks old (sitting at no. 264) apparently had 15,000 clicks last month for a product that is converting at 4%.

Here`s my query: is there someone out there who can help me to get targeted traffic from "money" countries like USA etc?

It seems as though google is messing with me?

My sites are hosted by Hosterfog - based in Germany.
