Saw a special on I think the Discovery channel about a woman with this situation.She didn't know until she started her first cycle. and had her first female dr visit.
According to the show, like Flowbee and Joe said, its more common than people know apparently.

The woman herself showed a sense of humor about it, yet some people are getting offended on her behalf for making silly jokes. What good does feeling bad about it do when said woman herself seems to be well-adjusted with a normal life, two daughters, apparently happy marriage.

Well, what an interesting conversation

My friends step-daughter has 2 vaginas, uterus, etc. She's had it pretty rough though with double menstrual periods every month and usually quite bad. She's also had several miscarriages. She has now managed to have a successful pregnancy and has a little girl and is pregnant again. But it's certainly given her a lot of issues.

I would be interested to know if you could be pregnant in one uterus and then fall pregnant in the other.

Like Kay though, I'm still wondering why this would be a conversation starter at a party. Certainly not something I would blurt out when I first me people!
