Jared got the site back up.

But there's still a problem. It's an article directory but when you click on the articles, nothing shows up. It's just the home page.

If you go to Articles247.info and click on one of the articles you can see what happens.

I think you have to log in into the admin section of the site and click on edit templates and do something with the codes. But I dunno what to do with the code.

Or should it be started all over again from scratch?

Anyone know?

I hate that idiot who did this. He broke my site. And I paid him for nothing. Thinking about doing a paypal chargeback. But the kind of person he is, no telling what he would do.

Should have posted this in the main section, but too late now.

UGH

So I hired someone to do a very simple job. They sent the paypal invoice to the WRONG EMAIL address and assumed I was just ignoring them which I was just waiting to get the invoice. Never emailed me to ask about it or anything. It came to my attention today and of course I paid. But they had already taken down my site out of spite or whatever. They are obviously immature, all they had to do was email me.

Now I have the files to put the site back up...but I don't know how to do this. I know it's simple, but I'm afraid if I mess with anything I'll "break it". (That happened before) It just involves uploading 2 files. I should know how to do this but I don't.

Can anyone help?

Actually, If the guy took them down for non payment, you should have said sorry for the misunderstanding, but now that we have sorted it out, you need to put them back up to get paid ( at least if installing them was part of the arrangement) then after they were reinstalled you should change your sites login info so only you have access again.

I know,I know, it's too late for this time, but something to remember for the future.

Ok, apparently editing does not bump it.

I should have done that Kim. I actually made 2 payments. He took it down cause he sent the second payment to the wrong email address and didn't bother contacting me before he did so. I wish I had said if you want the 2nd payment, get it back up and running first. 'I wish people had idiot signs so you know who to stay away from.
