JV Manager Assistance

I probably could have posted this in the main forum (And yeah I know the owner hangs out here too but still, the matter is not that urgent to disturb people) but I need some help setting up an affiliate system using JV Manager.

The problem:

I am opening an online store where people can upload their own products.

Thus, I need a three tiered commission structure so that

A percentage goes to the product owner ... Although, some product owners will actually be getting a different percentage on their own products but I know this can be set up using special tools just for this purpose that John so wisely installed.

A percentage goes to the affiliate that created the sale

The rest goes into my account

The problem I am having is differentiating affiliates that both own products and make sales as an affiliate. Do they have to have two different affiliate numbers (one as a product owner and one as a general affiliate) in order for me to set this up?

If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it.

    Hehehehehe Hey my Friend! Yeah! Finally back online and getting things together! (Again?)

    Putting together a rather intense affiliate site for the Asian countries mostly, but some Americans will shop there too and I hope a few IM'ers will promote it and make a little bit of money with me. I also have a book I was able to complete in the Net Cafes believe it or not, but I have not set that up to sell yet as I think I may be changing servers and not sure if the guy who was going to push it for me will or not.

    Back online though, and starting out yet again LOL
