shampoo/conditioner dilemma

Am I the only one struggling to discern a shampoo bottle from a conditioner bottle?
The word "shampoo" or "conditioner" are often quite understated, almost "hidden"very close to other words, and I always have to spend considerable amount of time reading the print....

    I simplified it. Don't use conditioner.

    I am with u PTA.

    My wife buys the high dollar stuff, and unless I wear my cheaters into the shower I have a booger of a time discerning between the two, I rarely remember to look before hand.
    I must admit that the good stuff does make a difference in me locks.
    I would prefer the shampoo conditioner combo, but my PA has not found me a good one.

    I have solved that problem by only buying products that have shampoo & conditioner combined in one bottle.
    Unfortunately, I have a worse problem:
    the instructions say "Lather, Rinse, Repeat," which puts me into an endless loop till the bottle runs dry.

      "Lather, Rinse, Repeat,"...one of the greatest advertising cons of the 20th century - so deceptively simple, it's peers fall prostrate in awe...:rolleyes:

    That's easy. You know the little "spout" on top?

    Shampoo = right side
    Conditioner = left side.

    Duh!

      I use a waterproof black ink marker and write a big "1" on the shampoo and "2" on the conditioner..

        Try grabbing some Porridge in a hurry!

        10 years ago l could just go there and grab the size l wanted, but these days, l have to sit there for 3 to 5 minutes, l make sure it isn't in satuals, or has dehydrated apple with it, etc!

        I swear if someone created a supermarket with a basic line up of products, instead of this confusing mess, l would be the first in line. :rolleyes:

        Probably explains why Apple is soo big, the founder, wouldn't develop any more than 3 variations of each product, realizing that the public didn't want endless choice, but Steve Jobbs relied on his gut instincts and intuition a lot, so it explains why their shops are laid out so well.

          I hear oatmeal is very good for your hair...but the butter and maple syrup is a bugger to get out...

          Costco is now the leading warehouse chain. They have aprox. 4-5000 products in their outlets, as opposed to 25,000 plus in a supermarket chain. Don't give them selection - give them what to select

            That seriously works, even with IM.

            I saw a special on Costco about a month ago.
            I found two things very interesting.
            1: There markup is always between 12 and 15% and
            2: The CEO said the hardest thing for him to do in all the years of running the company is to keep the hot dog and drink combo at a buck fifty.

              Funny you should say that. My daughter manages a Salon supplier and 90% of all high end hair care products are manufactured by L'oreal.

                Thanks, Big Rob, and l forgot to mention that someone else was there for a few minutes trying to find the Porridge they actually wanted!

                But by far the worst, apart from shampoo, conditioner is toothpaste, if you want to find toothpaste with a minty taste, it is virtually impossible!

                You have to read the packaging on the front that reads minty taste, make sure that it isn't minty gel, then read the fine print on the back just to make sure it is actually what you want.....Arrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhh

                Most of the time after spending a good 5 minutes or more trying to find what l want, l end up with a ballpark toothpaste, and just live with it!!!! :rolleyes:

                This video expresses how l feel about this....

        LOL! I use good conditioner and cheapo shampoo so the brands answer the question for me.

    Wait until you start getting old if you think thats a problem, been several times I have grabbed the body wash, vanilla honey or what ever the the trouble n stife has lined up and washed my hair with that, even more so you think o what the diddums, it smells good, it will do.

    3 in one would be better for me , shampoo, conditiner & body wash

      Yeah, that's why l only buy natural tee tree oil for a shampoo, because it is natural and there is only one product of it's type in the the entire shopping center.. Yayyyyy . And l get my conditioner from somewhere else, to escape the madness!!!!!
