Not meant to hurt anyone's feelings, Jared at all. I have been getting an overwhelming number of "friend" requests all the time which turn out to be nothing more than someone trying to sell me their marketing plan or JV spams. I just ignore all friend requests, because my marketing model is done almost all offline and not a fit for anyone here. I am always ready to help anyone when I can, however, I do not do JV's online. I think of ALL of you as my friends here and it really gives me pleasure to visit.

GM closed at $1.84 today. What did I do? Bought some more, along with a few other stocks. Soon I will have enough of all these certificates to wallpaper my entire house. LOL!

Sit down before you read this Paul.

A friend and I where talking about stocks today and thought G.M. and G.E. would be smart pics. If things stay for a couple of months I might actually give them a try.

Thom, I was sitting down. But after reading this, I fell out of my chair. It's incredible that you would even consider investing. GE and Citicorp were up sharply just today, and me and my boys made some nice coin with those and a few dozen other stocks. There are many otherwise excellent companies that are greatly undervalued right now, and by waiting a couple of more months you will be joining millions of others jumping back into the market. Just ease into it if you have never done this before, though, and NEVER put in more money than you can afford to lose. You will sleep much better.

I hear ya. My buddy is thinking of now. But like you said never more then you can afford to lose, that is the golden rule of playing the horses so I know that well. I'm waiting a couple of months to put some money aside. Still not 100% sure I will but at least I'm thinking about it.

I figure some companies aren't going to fail and will revive. G.E. is local (it was started in Schenectady, NY) So I'm familiar with them.

It was talking to 2 different friends that really got me thinking. They twisted the whole idea of stocks into a way that made it all make sense.

Val - it is customary to pay first respects to the Queen no matter what the alphabet.

          That is funny.
My mother was one of two Hilda's I knew. The other was a Polish woman who taught me how to kayak.

That sounds like a great straight line, but I can't think of what the punch line would be.

Who's tripping? I'm not tripping. If there is something you can do about that, though, I'd be glad to hear about it.

Farewell? Dunno - how far can a person get in one night in their sleep and can they make it back here after they wake up?
