An internet marketer's mindset?

I'm not sure if this is the right thread to start this, but I'll ask here anyway.

For those of you here who are marketers in one form or another, what do you attribute the success as an marketer to, in terms of know-how?

** To put the above question in a bit of personal context, I came from the IT world, so the way I think was different. I wasn't a salesperson.

But, now that I'm Affilate Marketer, I have to learn how to pre-sell and then sell to people. That has proven, for me, to be a tricky transition.

Well as for me my mindset when it comes to internet marketing is that I should never thought of not gaining anything at all from all the things that I've invested myself to learn. Like you for example, since you'll now be starting to learn all the things related to internet marketing (which is a lot, really), don't let yourself give up it too easily. Always think of putting what you've learned to use.

Have you found any success in your Internet Marketing business?

And if, so did you get there with or without mentoring|coaching?

This business can tend to be a lonely one. And because of that fact, it's easy to get overwhelmed with the about of tasks one would have to do to earn a full-time living from the whole thing.
    I appreciate your input.

Hi, if you want to try everything that seems viable, unless you have dumb luck on your side or know what research to do, etc it is most likely you will spend months and probably years, trying to get something to really work.

And l am not saying that to scare people off, but it takes time, just like a college degree, you can't expect to know a large pile of information in a month!

But of course the rewards can be life changing, that is the main reason l have been at it for more than 4 years, because being able to take off, go anywhere, and you only need a Laptop, or Smartphone, and your entire business is sitting on your lap or in your hand. Pretty cool stuff.

For those of you here who are marketers in one form or another, what do you attribute the success as an marketer to, in terms of know-how?

No, l am not really a salesperson, (in the true sense of the word) l just picked up stuff that works!

All you have to do, apart from keeping the graphics, video, etc quality as high as you can, is to list the main benefit to them in the headline, and go to the least useful benefit, etc.

As to the know how, there are a lot of things, realizing that SEO, can work, but it can also be very labor intensive; realizing that after developing a couple of products, that l needed to develop software, or more accurately hire a programmer, to really make it online.

Realizing that PPC, is a difficult way to create wealth, especially when you are first starting out.

I learned that from a PPC course l did a while ago, with Amit Meta, and Anik, running it, and a lot of testing, etc.

I also learned a lot of other stuff, some easy, some difficult and some l couldn't wait to get away from, as well as graphic design, etc.

WSOLaunchcode, is probably the main product that has put me on to the right path, if l have to pick one product. It currently isn't available on the WF, but it could be resurrected by them or someone else, one day?

So, now l can handle software development, which would have been too scary for words when l first started.

So the point l am trying to make is that if you don't stop trying and learning, then you will make it!

      Good luck.

Maybe I'll be able to get some input from Affiliate Marketers as well.
