My British weather for your sunny, gorgeous weather?

Over here, it seems that when they say 'light rain', they mean heavy rain and when they say 'heavy rain', they mean.......heavy rain!

Who want to throw us some sun? :p

We are experiencing a level 3 drought (which is serious) here in Eastern Ontario, Canada. Our fields are bone dry - tinder box dry actually. The ground is hard as cement and the grass crackles and turns to powder when you walk on it. River levels are extremely low. Wells are dry. Farmers, wildlife, and people are suffering under intense heat. We have not had any rainfall so far this July. And it was very sparse in May and June as well. It's really not nice at all!

And this drought covers an extremely large area in the US as well.

However, our western provinces are getting above average rain fall.

So please, do send me some rain. Heavy would be nice!

I didn't mean extreme, unbearable heat and I certainly wouldn't wish that on anyone, especially when it causes death.

I don't 'hate' the rain. In fact I love the sound of it, it's relaxing. Still a little bit of sunshine would be nice.

Getting a bit boring and repetitive now this crappy british "summer". If we want the sun I guess we'll have to move abroad, the nice weather is apparently on its way

No not usually. It just seems that way over the past few weeks or so. Surprisingly, it was actually 'light rain' today.
