Strange Activity On The Warrior Forum

Has anybody else noticed something strange this morning?

What I see is that a group of users who joined the forum this month, all with strange usernames that seem to be random series of characters, are going around resurrecting threads that have been dormant for three or four years, by posting inane, vacuous responses. Most of the threads seem to have the word "free" in their titles.

I have noticed also that, as of this moment, they all seem to have post counts of around 50.

Am I right? If so, what are they up to?

My guess is that they are planning to launch a bunch of PM spam.

Perhaps the following quotation is relevant:

"Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former."

I noticed it too, mostly in the Make money on line sub-forum.

I've been just patiently waiting for their bomb to drop, lol, as I know it will be a self destruction one.

I gave the Help Desk a list of over 60 accounts this morning that I noticed doing this. It's being taken care of. I know several of them were already banned.

Whenever you notice something really unusual like that, please report it. You don't even have to know what's going on - let the mod figure it out. That gets these vermin exterminated a lot faster.

Its a new cycle, there is always going to be a new wave of them, and everytime they try a different angle we get smarter.

Yeah Kay, I was gonna thank him for his sig alone but was out of thanks. Thanks for the reminder. That was funny.

The 50 posts is a nice touch! NOT 60,70,80,90, or 100, but 50! Could they be ANY more obvious?

I thought it was strange when a thread that hasnt moved off the first page in a week was down at the bottom of page two this morning, and i looked and there were exactly 51 posts in a row from this guy that were all one- three liners over night: I reported like a good Warrior.

Also thought it interesting that there's no profile info.

Please, Sir, may I have another cookie???:p

If profile info were a requirement - I'd be gone as there's little info on mine. I might report someone as "curious" and let mods check it out - but naming people is risky as you could be wrong.
