Just got a call from some call center, harvested from some Internet marketing purchase or other. The person on the other end had a good voice so I felt compelled to politely decline rather than outright hang-up on an unsolicited phone call.

I'm getting my fair share of calls. I'm registered with The Do Not Call agency, however, my phone number is readily available on a few websites, so I just have to suck it up.

The calls that burn my butt the most are from a political party in the states.

^Yeah! I get those, too. I'm in Ottawa, so I don't know why they care what I think about anything.

Ottawa? That probably explains why you'd be going to Saudi Arabia, lol.

Gee, you get a real voice on unsolicited calls? We just get robot calls and I just keep hanging up. Pretty soon the robot that says: "Congratulations, do NOT hang up" will get the message or I'll stay on the phone and report them.

I've also been putting them on speaker phone without saying a word until they hang up or vet the calls through an old answer machine.

I registered again with the Do Not Call list recently. It would have been nice if it didn't expire the last time; I just kept forgetting to do it.
