Hi folks. Just the past few days, annoying double blue underscore links have been appearing all over my internet pages. Hover over and a pop up add appears, or, click and a new advert page opens up. So infuriating, even on my ebay feedback page, certain words are underscored! I have heard about this, but, never had it happen to me before. Who's got onto my system?? How do I get them off? Any help would be much appreciated.

Sounds as if your computer has been infected with malware. Download and scan your computer with these two things:
    1) the free edition of malwarebytes (malwarebytes.org)
    2) superantispyware - (SUPERAntiSpyware.com | Remove Malware | Remove Spyware - AntiMalware, AntiSpyware, AntiAdware!)

Hi Carol, I've done both of these things, still got the blue underscore links, even on the Superantispyware site, which I thought is ironic. Not sure what to do now......

I'm guessing it's a browser add-on that got installed without you realizing it (sometimes certain add-ons, or even desktop software, will sneakily install adware in your browser without asking permission).

Do the ads appear in other browsers too? If not, then you can be sure that the issue is just with one browser, and is easy to fix.

So if you're only seeing the ads in one browser, then check your add-ons / extensions in that browser to see if any of them look suspicious. If so, delete or disable that add-on, and clear your cookies/cache, then you should be good to go.
