What spice would you have difficulty living without? For me, it would definitely be chili peppers.

    I couldn't live without salt!

I have low blood pressure and my doc tells me I need more salt.

I can't imagine eating cucumbers or grapefruit or watermelon or apples without my salt, lol!

Interesting choice. Consumption of curcumin is what is believed to be what causes India to have the lowest rate of Alzheimer's disease in the world.

"Curcumin May Help Prevent Alzheimer's Disease

In rats bred to develop Alzheimer's like symptoms, curcumin blocked the accumulation of beta-amaloid plaque in their brains and also appeared to reduce inflammation related to Alzheimer'ss disease in neurologic tissue. The rats fed curcumin also performed better on memory tests than rats on normal diets."

I know Alzheimer's has been a serious concern of mine for a couple years now. Between the brain cell destroying hard drugs I did 40 years ago, my brother getting Alzheimer's before he died, and my father possibly having a a mild case of it before he died, it's something I am trying to prevent.
          So far so good

    Salt, same as Terra.

Although Jerk seasoning comes in a close second. I just love the kick and burn of the Scotch Bonnets.

White pepper definitely. I like black pepper for everyday use but white pepper adds a zip that I haven't found any place else.
