It means your blood pressure is too high from all that sodium! Drink water and lots of it!

There are a few possible reasons. The symptoms could be from, momentary and not worrisome, to DISASTROUS! Go to an opthamalogist, and get checked for glacoma, and high blood pressure. Those are probably the two worst possible causes. And ask the opthamologist.

Did you chase it down with a margarita with a salted rim?

I don't know, but it seems to me you're lucky to feel your pulse at all...

These wouldn't happen to be bath salts, would they?

Naw, that stuff tastes like crap, nothing at all like salt, almost as bad as that Kentucky Jelly, tried some of that on crackers once, awful, slippery as hell but tasted like toxic waste.

He wouldn't be eating saltloaf. He'd be eating someone's face.

Raising a child is akin to knowing you're getting fired in 18 years and having to train your replacement without actively sabotaging them.

Hi Kekil, I'm new here. I think you have a muscle spasm in your eye. You can searh wiki about blepharospasm. It may be because you are tired or because you have a magnesium deficiency. Don't worry too much, try to rest and hopefully it goes away on its own.

It's completely normal and not dangerous at all. I doubt it's your pulse, but something that's called fasciculations. Fasciculations are small, local muscle contractions and everyone has it times to times.

I use to have it around my eyes too, in my legs and sometimes in my arms. It feels like the pulse, but it's not the pulse which causes fasciculations. It's usually the nerves which causes it.

You can read more about it here: Fasciculation - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I love the fact that people are taking this so seriously.

Don't forget the salt water taffy for dessert.

OK, I don't recall if the original post were more legitimate, but feeling the pulse in your eyes isn't something where you should say "AW, DON'T WORRY!"! If it is glacoma, you can lose peripheral vision ad eventually GO BLIND! If it is high blood pressure, the same sort of thing is just one possible symptom. Of course, a temporary thing, or just being too sensitive, etc... IS nothing. So YEAH, I was serious. Sorry...

        seasoned,

Scroll up and read the OP again. Scrolling is a cool little trick you can do in your browser. I highly recommend it, especially when you can't "recall" what was posted.

Try to focus seasoned...You're fading in and out again. The OP was joking about salt, not giving a grammar lesson. And it was you that couldn't "recall" what the OP was about. I was merely trying to help you refresh your memory.

I've gotta say, the unintentional comedy in this thread is absolutely fantastic.

KEKilpatrick, you should go to Saltlick, KY for your next family vacation. I hear they have all the sodium you can snort.

Well, my wife's family has a reunion in Cynthiana Ohio every year so it might be worth the drive to get a monster salt fix... afraid that might panic some of the participants to this thread though

He should also check out the Great Salt Flats by Salt Lake City and celebrate with a Salty Dog and take a soak in some epsom salts.
