Been the most valuable company in the world since last year, today became most valuable ever
Apple yesterday became the most valuable public company in history.

The share price of the technology firm rocketed to £423.33 in frenzied trading, taking the total value of its shares to £395billion.

Apple was already the No.1 on companies' current value, a position it has held since dethroning oil giant Exxon Mobil last August.

    It's kind of funny...I remember having a discussion on this very site about a decade ago, and some folks were telling me how Microsoft won and Apple was the loser.

    Even though Apple is worth more now, I still wouldn't call Microsoft a "loser", just as I didn't call Apple a loser back then.

      Apple has become quite a monster, for sure. I'm not into gambling (stocks/trading ), but if I was, Apple would probably be the only company I'd throw some serious coin at. I don't see them being "dethroned" anytime soon. Eventually, sure. But I think they will continue to be one of the most successful companies in the world for quite some time.

    There was a guy who back in the time sold all his Apple actions for a tiny amount of money, the guy has to be dying inside every time he reads some of these news LOL
